BACKGROUND

The Mintel Beauty & Personal Care enables clients to examine not only what is happening now - but also what is coming next - ensuring their businesses stay one step ahead.

The platform was originally developed in 2011 following a rebranding of the global brand, however as the brand developed it generated a need for the platform to be completely revamped in-order to provide a better user and brand experience.


PROCESS OVERVIEW

We spent lot of time with loads of stakeholders within the business as well as our clients in interviews, workshops & feedback sessions to work out the best way to achieve the goals of the new site.

  • We overhauled the design, site structure, search, relevancy and content layout
  • Added tools to help clients create presentations, share and favourite things for later and added new content types with innovative products, more industry trend & big issue reports & a focus on expert-led recommendations in every piece
  • Made the site a more compelling destination site with all insight from across a clients subscription showing on their homepage to help them get straight to what they need, no matter where it was published
  • developed and delivered a new Content Management System so analysts and digital publishing have a brand new way to write and publish
